device.process.close
Requests graceful close of GUI processes on one approved connected client.
Allowed Sources
Lanview ConsoleLocal Server ConsoleBatchDescription
Requests graceful close of GUI processes on one approved connected client. Creates one tracked ProcessClose command. The client attempts to send main-window close messages and reports per-process whether the message was sent and whether each process exited after a brief check. Single-device only. This is not device.process.kill and does not hard-kill if close fails or is ignored. Processes without a main window usually cannot be closed this way. Partial names, partial paths, wildcards, regex, group close, /killafter, and process tree close are not implemented. Use device.process.kill where hard termination is required.
